Name: Bowie State University Football Field Client: Bowie State University Type: Alpine Sandwich Field Alpine turned the renovation of Bowie State University's stadium football field into innovation by creating what is now known as the Alpine Sandwich Field. Alpine cut the native soil to rough grade, removed large amounts of rock, amended it with sand and compost, finish-graded and sprigged the field. This university field had complete grass covering in 5 weeks and was playable in 8 weeks. It has played well over the years and is in excellent shape today. <<< back |
